Privacy & refund policy

What we collect

When you apply for membership or register for an event, we collect the details you type in the form (name, contact details, academic and professional details), an optional photograph, and the payment reference (UTR) and optional screenshot you submit.

Why we use it

Only to manage your membership and event registration, to verify payments, to contact you about Association activities, and — only if you tick the box — to list your name, batch, organisation and city in the members-only alumni directory. Your phone number and email are never shown publicly.

Who can see it

Only the Association's authorised office-bearers who log in to the admin panel. We do not sell or share your data with anyone. Data is stored securely with our hosting provider.

Your rights

You may ask us to correct or delete your details at any time by writing to ameaouku@gmail.com. This follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Payments and refunds

Payments are made directly to the Association's bank account by UPI or bank transfer. The website does not collect card or bank login details. Membership and delegate fees are generally not refundable. If you paid twice by mistake, or paid the wrong amount, write to us with the UTR number and we will refund the extra amount to the same account within 15 working days.
